Probably not, but when has that ever stopped ROM hackers before?eskil wrote:THIS.o.pwuaioc wrote:If only someone made a translation for the Saturn version.
Really though, is that even possible/practical?

I can't imagine a Saturn Grandia translation would be a high priority, as there already is an English version on the PSX. Same goes for the Lunar games.

The PS translation sucks, and you can't play it on a Saturn.BoneSnapDeez wrote:I can't imagine a Saturn Grandia translation would be a high priority, as there already is an English version on the PSX. Same goes for the Lunar games.

Wild Arms for the PS1. My first JRPG I played and beat. Loved everything about it, the Western theme and music, graphics, the puzzles, etc.

Nier. Truly wonderful and unique game. Gameplay didn't knock it out of the park, but the music and story delivered a straight up haunting atmosphere I won't soon forget.
Seems like no one ever talks about Legend of Legaia, it's like the forgotten PS1 RPG. I guess it does kind of take a backseat among so many greats, but I thought it was really fun.

Legaia was pretty cool, but also very difficult, some of the bosses in it were just plain brutal.brunoafh wrote:Nier. Truly wonderful and unique game. Gameplay didn't knock it out of the park, but the music and story delivered a straight up haunting atmosphere I won't soon forget.

La Pucelle Tactics. I started playing a few days ago and I'm really enjoying it. I rarely hear anyone talk about it, and if they do it's "That one that came before Disgaea." I've never played Disgaea, so I don't care.
The Dark Portals add a lot to the gameplay, monster collecting and training is actually necessary, you have total control over character growth, and I've only scratched the surface. Even the contents of the shops can be modified, and these shops have a limited stock. You can't just buy 99 SP-restoring items like other RPGs.
When's the last time I praised a game for its shops

Ah, I haven't played that game in years. It's an excellent RPG, and well worth checking out.Valkyrie-Favor wrote:La Pucelle Tactics. I started playing a few days ago and I'm really enjoying it.
