I did finish Supreme Commander 2's campaign on the 360, but it was the only console RTS I ever played.

For an older Console, PS1 Command and Conquer or Red Alert. Red Alert can also be played with the PS1 Mouse or Trakball.

How is Army Men: RTS on Gamecube? I love it on PC and I always see it around on Gamecube and wonder if I should get it. I wish it had some kind of multiplayer though :/

Robocalypse on the DS is a lot of fun but it's simple and painfully short. It's got a neat cartoon style though.

It's also on the iOS. There's a WiiWare game, but it's a tower defense game. I love TD games, but wish people would stop calling them RTS games. They also do that with castle defense games, which I don't like. Except for Aeon Genesis, as well as Swords and Soldiers. There was also a defense game for the iOS I like that's like a TD game but from a side view and you put units on different parts of a series of slopes and surfaces, and they just hang out until something comes by and they kill it. Can't remember its name, but there's a sequel and neither is on Android yet. I left behind a lotta gr8 games I left behind when I jumped ship to Android, like this one Warcraft2-style RTS made by Gameloft.

But I digress.

I liked LotR: Battle for Middle-Earth 2, C&C3 and C&C: Red Alert 3, all for Xbox. I also own the last one I named. Also liked Halo Wars and wanna get it.

You'd think that with their touch screens, there'd be more on the 3DS, Vita, iOS, Android tablets and WiiU. Maybe the next Xbox and the PS4 will use their motion controls to tweak the console RTS experience.

Warcraft 2 for PS1.

I know *technically* Warcraft is considered a PC game, but it was released on the Playstation and that is my only experience playing the game. I still remember my buddy buying it and I had my doubts about the game. Next thing I know we're up past 5am playing it.

I think RTS games are terrible on console, peroid. No matter what. However, the one console that did it best was the N64.

I very much enjoyed Mech Platoon on the GBA. It was like a toned down TA with upgradeable units:
