Also in regard to the "ganging up" thing, I don't think it was really uncalled for or rude. When you bump a 3 year old topic basically just to bash on stuff, I would say getting those kind of replies is basically getting what you ask for.

I think you might have misunderstood me. Personally I don't really care much about "form" in this sense (necrobumping vs new threads) as long as it isn't like completely obnoxious or something.

But when you do necrobump something it's generally because you are wanting attention/feedback on the subject or with your post, right? So I just don't see how BurningDoom getting exactly that for necrobumping a thread with a reply that is obviously going to rile people up and generate negative comments, is something to be frowned upon.

BurningDoom necrobumped this thread because he'd wanted to make his opinions known, but he had been criticized in the past for starting new threads when old ones would suffice. Now sure, his opinion did rile people (for various reasons: insulting the Atari 2600 or other consoles, posting in the wrong thread, necrobumping a thread, etc.). But some of that criticism seemed to venture more into blatant insults and unnecessary harshness (the example I posted earlier about BurningDoom's "gamer card"). I'm defending him in this situation not because I necessarily agree with him (I don't), but because I feel the response he got wasn't warranted by his initial post.

You are one sensitive guy if you really believe I did all this just to piss people off.

I've already explained that I resurrected the thread because every freaking time I have ever created a thread that exists, I'm pointed to that existing thread no matter how old it is.

And a troll is someone who says stuff just to piss people off. I made a list of the consoles I've played that are the worst I played. I gave reasons and explained myself why I felt that way, unlike a troll.

Just because that opinion doesn't line up with your opinion, doesn't mean I'm a troll. And frankly, I've explained my position enough that it should be obvious at this point. Get over your opinion, it's not a fact.

And to be clear, NEVER did I insult the Atari 2600 like people are now saying. In fact, I said I respect what it did for the gaming industry, but it didn't provide me much fun, personally.
