What a great match (Horrible for Spain). Tiki-taka did absolutely nothing against Brazil. I'm just hoping your young squad doesn't get too big of a head and think that the World Cup will be a breeze now. Also Neymar needs to stay on his feet more and stop diving.

God, we do hope so as well. But this was a great match and a great tournament (I watched Spain-Uruguay and Italy-Japan live).

Neymar was awesome (most people around the world doubted him, but I guess his moving to Barcelona finally lifted the weight from his shoulders), was stupid at times, but he is young and will improve.

However, the best part of the game yesterday was this:



David "Sideshow Bob" Luiz is such a boss.

Just like I would love a "Celebrity Action Hero" fighting game, I'd also love a "Sci-Fi" fighting game. E.T and Gizmo might be able to kick ass, but we may never know.

Oh no doubt. David Luiz's save had me in disbelief. It was such a pretty bend to begin with, and I had thought the goal had already gone in from the angle I saw on TV, and Luiz wasn't even on the screen. Then he appeared, and made a sliding save that 7/10 times would've been an own-goal. Quite amazing. That and he shut out tons of attempts by Spain.

My only qualm about the match was the inherent diving, and every tussle causing each team to start shoving each other. I know it's a tense match, but play soccer/football.

I had not seen that David Luiz save. That is so good it makes me think of the anime Captain Tsubasa (which for me is many times more interesting to watch than real football games - sorry).
