RIP Jim Kelly

Post by flojocabron »

I just learned on Facebook that this cool cat died!

I had liked his page and Jim would occasionally post some stuff.

This guy was a martial artist back in the day and he had an interesting career.

most notably in the movie "enter the dragon" with bruce lee

Rest in peace good sir and I hope you spar a couple of times with Mr. Lee in the great beyond 8)

I've only seen Enter The Dragon, but he was awesome in it. This is always the part I remember his character for.

Damn. I watched a documentary a couple of months ago about martial arts in the African American community, The Black Kung Fu Experience, and everyone interviewed had nothing but praise for Jim Kelly. This is a sad day for martial arts fans and loves of martial arts cinema.
