The twist actually bumped my enjoyment up a bit, not that it's going to go down as one of my favorites.
As for the ending though I am completely expecting it to end on a random and possibly bad (as in poorly done) note, as the manga is on-going.

Ii got to the twist today
At first I thought that the twist would be a change in protagonists from Eren to Mikasha. I guess we get Titan Eren instead. I have yet to see any episodes after 7 so no spoilers further than this please. I am curious how things work out. Will he be able to turn back into human? Control it? Talk to the others in Titan form? We'll see. Nice twist though imo

Alright, I have a few series I purchased out of the blue because I read the synopsis on the back and it sounded good. Thing is I haven't watched them yet and I can't make up my mind on which one to pick.
Desert Punk
X
Excel Saga
Oh! My Goddess
Full Metal Panic (I have seen this series, just not the DVD set I got)
Crono Crusade
Not a bad show. It's based on the Manga which is still publishing after 20 years. Very short and don't really explore the manga fully (who could at that time). Still, give this show a chance as it just have 5 episodes.

Alright, Ill start with that one. I love the movie Ah! My Goddess. One of my favorites.

If you like Oh my Goddess, do try to watch the Ah My Goddess TV series. I like the TV series more than the OVA as the story is spread out and detail while you start to know more about the characters. You can't have this in the OVA. Still, season 2 in the TV series change the tone quite a bit (which is good or bad by personal taste).

So, which one should I dive into?
Excel Saga is pretty nutty and a lot of fun. Might be a tad obnoxious though.
It's got tons of references and nods to classic anime, but even if you aren't too well versed in that stuff you'll find a lot to enjoy.
