Wait, so what business is your dad in? And he's been withholding paychecks from you?
He owns a small cleaning company that I do most of the work for. I do his billing from time to time and know how much comes in. For how much I make he has no reason to not be paying me. The only reason I can think of is that he doesn't like the idea of giving me money.
Shit he went out of town a few weeks ago and told about me a job that needed to get finished the day before it needed to be finished. I worked 22 hours that day. I found out by asking the property manager that he had known when the job needed to be completed for the past two weeks. I just can't handle that chaos anymore and having to work at the drop of a dime isn't working for me.
Have you thought about going into the cleaning biz for yourself?
I never owned a cleaning biz, but I worked for a guy that had his own small one. He was a good boss and paid me fairly well for the amount of cleaning jobs I had. I was also right out of high school and didn't have nearly as many bills as I do now, lol.

Yeah, he probably figures you won't complain, since you are family. Do you live at home? Anyway, yeah, I'd quit too under the circumstances.

I mean all I ever do at work is clean crap anyway...
I didn't mind it back then. i probably wouldn't now either. Offices were always closed so you never had to deal with employees, you could listen to your tunes, and some places like dessert shops or whatever, dependant on the managers/owners, you could help yourself to stuff like sodas, or whatever.
I remember cleaning a TCBY and the manager said I could have as much fountain drink as I wanted, but never touch the frozen yogurt. I was honest and didn't partake, but I will say I ate some m&ms here and there, lol.
How much should someone pay for a twice a month house cleaning?
One of my jobs was cleaning an OBGYN clinic. It was gross. But in this clinic they had a small room with a couch, a TV and VCR. They had a library of OBG media for women visiting there. My girlfriend and I would rent movies and watch them there on the couch, but most times we'd rent movies and not watch them at all.

Yea I have been thinking about that for the past 3 months but I have no idea how I would go about getting my first account.

Nah I don't live with him. He would have fired me for not doing the dishes at the house or something stupid like that.
He treats me like shit and differently from all my siblings and they all notice it but he denies it. I quit drinking almost 2 months ago and now remember why I drank so much.
Smile: Nice day. Preparing for a nice week long vacation in Missouri. We leave tomorrow. Weather should actually be nice for once. Normally it's too hot this time of year to really have much fun outside there in my opinion. I plan on lots of water skiing and wave-running.
Frown: The realities of how little money I will have during college, and the next 4-6 years of my life. My dad will pay the rent, grocery bill, and gas so long as I do well grade-wise which is incredibly generous of him. I'm not going to have an extra penny though, unless I manage to find some part time work though. No eating out. No video games. No movies etc. The school offers a work-study program they send out to some students but I haven't been given the option yet. Ideally, I'd find a close-by Radio Shack or something to work part-time in.
Smile/Frown: Still no solid bites on my car. If it sells reasonably soon; I think I have found it's replacement.
