Calling all Sega Addicts!
(Please let me know if I've put this in the wrong part of the forum.)
Established in 2010, Sega Addicts currently receives approx. 1,000 views a day and between 30-35,000 views a month. With your help, we'd like to boost those figures even further.
As the name suggests, Sega Addicts is a Sega fansite devoted to delivering news, reviews, features, podcasts and much more - all on the topic of Sega. Our sphere of interest includes Sega's Japanese games, mobile games, arcade games, business deals, fan games and of course, console and retro games.
What we're looking for are voluntary contributors that are willing to provide news posts, semi-regular features, reviews and video content in order to broaden our range of content and our reader base.
Applicants can be from any corner of the world and can be of any age. All we ask for is three things:
-A good command of the English language
-A commitment to follow projects through to completion
-A fondness of Sega in any way, shape or form and from any era of gaming
Here's what Sega Addicts can offer you:
-The freedom to write what you like, when you like (within reason)
-Access to the cumulative knowledge of our experienced editors
-Advice and feedback on anything you create
-The attention of our passionate readers
-An opportunity to improve your writing skills
-An opportunity to participate in video content, podcasts and joint features
-Good times galore
Please be aware that we are seeking volunteer contributors. However, there are no set positions and no set requirements for the amount of content you must provide. Every current member of Sega Addicts is a volunteer and we all appreciate any time you can offer us.
We also accept pitches for guest posts which is a good opportunity for potential Sega Addicts to dip their toes before they take the plunge.
Those interested in joining us are advised to check out Sega Addicts, get a feel for the site and contact the site's owner Alex via email - segaaddicts[at]gmail.com , or send a PM directly to me.
We look forward to hearing from you!

-Good times galore
Can you convert a galore to the metric system so I can gauge just how many good times will be had?
Also, I may be interested to post on a very occasional basis, say, once a month. Between my own website, game dev and general unemployed antics, I don't have a whole lot of time to spare. I'll give it some thought. In the mean time, good luck finding some nice writers.

Would love to contribute to this, but currently tied up with working 6 day weeks, preparing for a wedding and writing music reviews. I may have to get back to you in a few months when I have more time, but the site looks great! My favourite game is Shenmue, and I regularly join the swarm of haters on Sega's Facebook hurling abuse at them, but this looks like a more constructive use of emotion aimed at them.
