I agree, however i feel they havent made a true modern day zombie movie, at least the way i see it in my mind, it seems alot of these "zombies" movies, dont actually have "zombies" but some sort of "rage" or whatever, and are not true undead.

I think 28 days later and 28 weeks later are my favorite "zombie" movies.

Zombies are getting to played out. I thought the movie sucked. The book is way better.

What is a "good" movie based after a book in your opinion? also did you find the movie entertaining at least?

Interesting... I imagine it'll be one of those that I start watching like any other movie but then switch my brain to B-movie mode halfway (or earlier as the case may be). If it doesn't even work as a B-movie, though, I'll be very disappointed.

Blade Runner
I would say that Blade Runner is the best book to movie adaptation ever.

Yeah, a lot of Ack's list contain movies that actually improved on the book. Sometimes.

JURASSIC PARK does somethings better, such as instead of a few chapters on how the dinos were cloned we get a cartoon to explain it. But the most terrifying stuff is left out (Hammond's death, the egg rolling part).

The best okay book to incredible movie has to be JAWS. Or at least it has to be in the discussion. All of the adultery in the book serves no purpose, and the shark isn't as terrifying. Better ending in the book though.

STAND BY ME is an odd lot as well. It's not even it's own book, and LADY IN THE WATER shouldn't have been mentioned.
