I actually prefer the snes port of Final Fight to the arcade for one reason, the music. Something about it sounds so "super nintendo-y". Of course the game still stands the test of time, and Haggar is still my boy.
As a Guy player, I disagree!

Final Fight Guy  I remember it being a rental exclusive at Blockbuster stores, so I got it a few times. It's FF -- with GUY!

1. Mega Man (NES)
2. Kirby's Adventure (NES)
3. Toejam & Earl (GEN)
4. Mortal Kombat (SCD)
5. Rockband (Hard) (360)
6. Mega Man 2 (NES)
7. Metal Storm (NES)
8. Little Samson (NES)
9. Castlevania (NES)
10. Super Mario Bros (NES)
11. Chip & Dale: Rescue Rangers (NES)
12. Contra (NES)
13. Super Mario Bros 3 (NES)
14. Pro Wrestling (NES)
15. Ducktales (NES)
16. Dragon Spirit (NES)
17. Phantasy Star Online Ep 1 (GC)
18. Batman: Arkham Asylum (360)
19. Tomb Raider (360)
20. Final Fantasy XIII (360)
21. The Last Story (Wii)
22. Ivy the Kiwi? (Wii)
23. Illusion of Gaia (SNES)
24. Mushihimesama Futari (1.5-O & BL-O 1cc) (360)
25. New Super Mario Bros (DS)
26. Adventure Time: Hey Ice King, Why'd You Steal our Garbage?!! (3DS)
27. WarioWare Touched (DS)
28. Elite Beat Agents (2-Star Difficulty) (DS)

Fell a little behind on this, so I'll keep it short:

Ivy the Kiwi was awesome. the motion controls were great, and the game had great pacing.

Illusion of Gaia was fantastic. I loved Soul Blazer, so I was hesitant going in, but I couldn't put it down.

Futari, not my first time clearing either mode, but the first time I've cleared BL with a score I can feel good about.

...So, at this point in the list, I got my 3DS XL

NSMB took me a bit to get into, as I had to adjust to a 2D Mario game that I hadn't played to death. Once I got past that, I really enjoyed the game. I hated the powerups at first, but they grew on me. The mini shroom taking Mario's ability to kill via jump AND use fireballs away was a nice touch, especially when you had to use it and kill a boss.

Adventure Time... I actually bought this for my gf so that she had something to play while waiting for Animal Crossing, but decided to give it a try once she told me she was stuck and needed help. I played the game for about an hour, and then the next day finished it in one sitting. Its a pretty easy Zelda II-esk game, but it was just a lot of fun.

WarioWare I had played in high school on a friends ds, but this was my first time playing through my own copy. Awesome game.

Elite Beat Agents was great, once I got used to the controls. The difficulty o the songs progresses very nicely at the highest difficulty I was allowed to pick, and the last few songs gave me a bit of trouble. This game has a great vibe, and it just oozes cool.

Now, to find the next DS game to obsess over.

I thought it was fantastic. Haven't been that glued to an rpg since Persona 4.

Elite Beat Agents is the first game I played through when I purchased my DS Lite several years ago. It is very solid, and it remains one of my favorite music and rhythm games.

The DS has a great library that is full of hidden gems, and if you (unlike me) aren't picky about getting games in complete condition, you can build a sizable collection pretty quickly.

The majority of my Saturn games are fighters and sports titles, but I feel like hooking her up.

Sorry if I unload a few sport titles on my list.

...I'm having trouble understanding why you would consider these to be bad things.

There are some great sports games on Saturn. I still need to pick up DecAthlete.

And this thread also reminds me that I still need to snag Soul Blazer and Terranigma somewhere down the road. Illusion of Gaia rules.
