LINK? Are you offering a discount to Racketboy members?

The emulator concept intrigues me. Do the ROMs have to be purchased or is there a way to install from a memory card?

The console has a USB port. Can also be hooked to a PC and have apps sideloaded, so perhaps on local storage as well.

I've only fired mine up once. Interestingly, the collector's edition variant does not have the names etched in it.

I bought mine yesterday, its pretty interesting, you can sideload a bunch of apps thru usb but some of them are hit or miss, as far as emulation, just about every emulator for android works full speed. if your into retro emulation this is for you, it also has a market to try out and purchase games, the majority are indie titles. iv'e purchased crappy tablets far more expensive than this console, to me 99 bucks was a deal breaker. i don't have any complaints as of yet..

Any luck getting a flash drive working with it? I tried a spare Kingston drive I had sitting around, freshly formatted to NTFS, but the files were not detected on SDCARD1 or USBDRIVE on the folder navigation.
If you aren't having a good time, why are you playing?

I've been using a 16gb sandisk flash drive in mine for emulators with no issues.

there's a trick how to detect the thumb drives..
you have to install es file explorer apk. (you can use web browser to find apk)
once you boot that up click on the star icon (you will see it on the left side)
from there you should see your thumb drive appear under mnt/usbdrive.

I'm pissed that they advertised it as hacker friendly and then made it near impossible to get into the recovery/bootloader. I had big plans for this little box, but without a way to get into recovery, its very hard to tinker with it. There's going to be a rather long wait for custom (AOSP) ROMs to get to the Ouya. Until then, it's just a dust collector to me.

So, I've been sideloading today. Just thought I'd let you guys know that OpenArena (the open source port of Quake 3... thing) works perfectly.

So what's the deal with early adopters and the controller? Do I need to send mine back? I haven't even opened it.
