How are you enjoying it?

It's decent. I like the characters and the big portraits that appear when they speak. Seems to be a Genesis thing with RPGs, we never saw much of that on the SNES. Nice colorful graphics too.

I find the battles a bit slow. The animations that appear during every single battle action seem extraneous. The enemy AI is idiotic at times - sometimes doing nothing, moving a single unit forwards, or even backwards.

I am with dish too, I literally just about fell asleep while playing it last night. Had the heavy eyelids and microsleeps that I would snap out of.

All said, I do enjoy it. I look forward to getting more characters and seeing the battles become larger and more challenging.

Promoting at the priest needs no change in plot - this is not a special character. There are priests in many of the towns, is where you usually save the game.

How did you get your healer to over level so much? I've been using Sarah to finish up enemies whenever I have the chance, as that is up to 5 times the experience in a single turn, otherwise I am healing practically every single turn until her MP are depleted (usually happens one turn before the end of the battle).

She is on par compared with my other characters (sometimes a bit behind the ones that get more kills and a bit above the ones that get less kills).

I've gone through several "grind battles" - leveling characters up and then using Egress to escape when there's one enemy left. I heal with Sarah nearly every turn (sometimes I use her to attack or use an offensive spell). So she's always gaining experience while other characters are simply moving around the battlefield.

Okay, Sarah is level 20 but I'm not close to a town. Promote her as soon as I can, or is there any advantage in waiting?
