What was the last movie you've seen?

As it comes with no surprise, Bay's TMNT will include lots of camera humping of a supermodel-esque April O'Neil.

I'm worried too man. That picture had zero ninja turtle-ness to it. Megan Fox as April? Puh-lease don't let it be so.

Trying to think of the last movie I loved with a cgi main character. Might go all the way back Gollum of LOTR.

I'm leaving in a few to go see Monsters U with the kiddo. He's hugely psyched out, I'm dreading it will be as predictable and soulless as the first one...

Fortunately he's also excited about Despicable Me 2, which I have much higher hopes for. That one should be fun in a few weeks.

As long as the Turtles are mutants and not aliens, I don't care what they do with it. The various TV shows, comics, movies, etc. have all been different from one another, but each version so far has been decent if not great in its own way (even The Next Mutation is so bad it's good), so who are we to say that this version isn't just as valid?
I'm not a glitch, I just have pixlexia.

WORLD WAR Z

Definitely different than the book, but still entertaining. It's not a typical zombie movie either, which I enjoyed. There are a couple of 'zombie pop outs' in the movie that will guarantee you getting your arm around your favorite girl (or guy as the case may be), but there's very little gore which was surprising.

I really thought they were dumbing this one down to make 28 Days Later: US Edition. But they didn't, and I liked that. Not a whole lot of gore, and though you can tell someone is bashing a skull in, they dont show it and you don't hear the *SPLORCH!!* sound effect.

They concentrated on the story, which was pretty good too albeit very different than the book in format and actual story. Until the other day, I never realized that Max Brooks is Mel's son, ha. Anyway, its' an entertaining flick, different than I had expected.

MU is a bit predictable, doesn't have much of an emotional impact, but it is a great comedy and supplies the laughs.

Despicable me 2 will be terrific.

I've already offered this hat to one of our members, but if he doesn't want it I'll let you know as it will be up for grabs.
