So Luke I'm guessing you don't have any plans to tell her you got a vasectomy as a joke?

If I tell any joke about the situation I'll remind her I have two sons in Monte Carlo that she has no idea about.flex wood wrote:So Luke I'm guessing you don't have any plans to tell her you got a vasectomy as a joke?

I still don't see how 'messing with the thermostat' leads to breaking the AC. All the thermostat does is turn 3 things on or off. Cold, heat, and the fan. Everything else from responding to the temperature to doing fancy scheduling based off the time or day or day of the week is all in the thermostat. Unless 'messing' includes physical abuse, I don't see how one would have broken the thermostat either.

Yeah I am not sure either. I have a programmable thermostat and it saves me a lot of money.Hobie-wan wrote:I still don't see how 'messing with the thermostat' leads to breaking the AC. I never had the baby making issues Luke. In fact we weren't even really wanting to have a baby. Wifes birth control prescription ran out and there was a 2 week lapse. We figured it would take a month or so for her to regulate so had a 'whatever happens' attitude. And it happened. The tears at first were facing the reality of pregnancy and being parents.

That was our experience too. After a fantastic night out on the town - which featured enough alcohol for each of us to think that the other was taking care of birth contol - we woke up the next morning and thought "Hmmmm...what are the odds..." About a month later, we thought, "Pretty good apparently..."

And that's why the proper answer to "what are the odds" is "take the morning after pill".prfsnl_gmr wrote:Jmustang1968 wrote:We figured it would take a month or so for her to regulate so had a 'whatever happens' attitude. This is generally correct...but when you have been discussing children and taking a laissez-faire attitude toward birth control for several months..."whatever" was the response for us. After that, my wife and I discovered that, unless we are trying really hard not to get her pregnant...she is getting pregnant. The upside to this - other than, obviously, my two beautiful children - is that I feel like all the money I spent on contraception over the years was very well spent!MrPopo wrote:And that's why the proper answer to "what are the odds" is "take the morning after pill".

LMAO will have to try this.Ack wrote: See, what you'll need to do is to get a box of matches and wander around your house at night collecting pieces of an urn.
