Had a few hours to catch up with some high definition graphics.

I could not beat Super Thunder Blade for the life of me, but I ran through a few classics.

Not much to say about Road Rash, but I'll be playing Rambo III again soon just for the fun of it. The bow and arrow scenes still look sharp, and the sound of non-stop explosions is Genesis music to my ears.

Shinobi III is a step back from II in my opinion, but to make sure I'll be playing II on the sega CD; hopefully today. The soundtrack isn't up to par with II and the controls feel too rigid. Still, it's another game I'll be playing year after year.

LHX on the Genesis isn't as good as it is on the PC and it felt like it didn't have as many missions, and although it's nothing special, I had to beat at least one chopper game yesterday. I'm still fuming about Super Thunder Blade. That game is sooo tough.

^Activision Anthology. Boxing was a 2-player staple of my 2600 youth. The single player mode AI is a dick though. I was only able to beat him by hiding in a corner and mashing every time he moved slightly.

Skiing is like the original Ski Free. But other than playing to beat your time, it's really easy to clear on first try.

If I use cheats or don't see credits, I won't put it on my list. But this isn't a contest and has never meant to be one. Someone could list "Double Dragon on Tiger handheld" and I wouldn't care.

I'll probably post "Barkley: Shut Up and Jam" on my list sometime soon, and although you do "beat" the game, some genres don't feel like you accomplished much. But as Juno would say, "what evs", we are simply keeping a tally.
