I remember at a time I thought people would have stand-alone UMD players for movies. Kind of like tiny DVD players. I was... apparently wrong.BoneSnapDeez wrote:For a while there I thought that minidiscs would really take off........

I really like UMDs. Wouldn't it be great if all discs had a plastic case like that?

Yes, it would be.BoneSnapDeez wrote:I really like UMDs. Wouldn't it be great if all discs had a plastic case like that?
As long as Nintendo's not going to bother to pay for playback rights, they should put plastic cases over their discs. I can see why Sony and MS don't, but Nintendo doesn't have much of an excuse.

Too old.
If I had points I'd hook you up though dude but I haven't been doing any Nintendo gaming in awhile.

Smile: Yard games and grilling out tonight.
Games include:
Lawn Darts
Croquet
Badminton
Duke Nuke'em cornhole*

on the ground flat, and then elevated to a 45 degree angle.
Had to do something with the placard. Seems fitting.

Frown: Twice has our A/C gone out (once on the first floor, once on the second and third) and twice it's because my wife has f--ked around with the thermostat. We've paid over $200 for a guy to fiddle with the fu-king THERMOSTAT! Not that we didn't get free freon and a crash course on how the A/C works, but still...expensive.
So my wife tells me that our A/C isn't working on the second floor. I ask, "Did you mess with the thermostat?" and she flips out on me. "WHY DOES THIS HAVE TO BE MY FAULT?"
I ask, "Yes or no, did you mess with the thermostat?".
"Yes, BUT IT'S NOT MY FAULT!"
It was her fault, and I fixed it.
I love her so much, but this lady can't accept blame for ANYTHING. I wasn't rubbing it her nose, I just asked if she changed the settings and she goes bonkers.
After I fixed it and saved us another hundred some bucks, I didn't even get a "thank you", so I calmly told her "Shame on you for blowing up on me like that. Shame."
