Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

lol.

Capitollium are really symphonic black metal but they call themselves "Liturgy Metal"
Liturgy are actually post black metal but they call themselves "Transcendentalist Black metal". These guys give post black metal a bad name. They are so full of themselves if you ever seen or read an interview with them.

Liturgy is one of those bands I've never even bothered to listen to because their image/style/persona irked me so much. I can just assume the music is equally shitty.

A lot of metal websites actually give them good reviews for some reason and but when you actually hear the music it is actually horrible. Many metal fans don't like them.

That said, I find it hilarious when they label black metal as BM, because I always first think "bowel movement.". Which means post-black metal is shit!

I dunno, differentiating regional scenes like that is a bit different and significantly more useful. I mean for example, USPM is stylistically different from its European counterpart. NYDM sounds different from Swedish Death Metal. Bay Area Thrash sounds fairly distinct from Teutonic/German Thrash, etc.

i liked about 30% of Anaesthetica, but yeah, it's mostly garbage. i'm glad they're pretty much out of the spotlight. brooklyn dipshits playing blast beats.

I promise to love you forever. The next time you shower, I will climb into your bathroom after you leave. I will sweep up the hair folicles I find spread around the bathroom, and I will make a small hair doll of you. I will hold the hair doll and sing to it, snuggle it, play with it, and whisper to it how everything will be ok.

And then I will eat it.
