Any good recommendations for Plug n Plays?

Anything that is gaming related that doesn't fit well anywhere else

I can vouch for that.
Me too. I picked one up at a thrift shop last year, and I have been very pleased with it. Bone will probably disagree, but that is as far as I need to go into C64 gaming.

How is the video out better exactly? Because there exists the whole S-Video mod for the original 2600 instead of RF.

What are the exact hackable video capabilities and are they better than a 2600?
The model 2 at least has great composite video out. The modded heavy 6er I bought, I have to occasionally adjust the pots to get real black, but the S -video is definitely better than the flashback 2's video. The picture's near full screen on the Flashback vs the smaller picture on the modded original.
The Flashback 2 can be modded to play most carts, but I destroyed 2 model 2's trying to do the mod myself. It cannot run certain carts when fully modded for carts - specifically it cannot run a Harmony cart which prompted me to get the modded original.

You haven't lived until you pick up a Rootin' Tootin' cartridge.

Has anyone gotten around to S-Video on the Flashback 2?
N64/NES/FC/SNES/SFC/GB (SGB)/GBC (Black)(SGB)/FDS/Satellaview/Genesis/Mega Drive/Master System & maybe N64DD/GBC/GBA.
