Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

I've been looking for their debut for ages.......
I usually download my music because it's really tough to find physical copies to the bands I listen too. I buy there music whenever I find them though. I like The Angelic Process's album Weighing Souls with Sand. It's got great drone elements. I use it sometimes when I take a nap. It helps. :D

Hello everybody.

I've been gaming since the NES was new and while I don't exclusively play older games, I do still enjoy them a lot. I do tend to be a bit more of a lurker than poster because I only post when I feel I have something of value to contribute. Hopefully I will find someway to contribute here. :D

I am console agnostic. I don't care who makes what as long as it's fun. I have consoles from pretty much everybody with few exceptions and those come down to not having bought one yet.

I also collect old A/V technology and certain old computers. Being an IT tech, I don't really collect too many computers unless it's something particularly old or interesting. I have enough of that stuff floating around already as spares or leftovers from projects, etc.

I have a collection of almost 400 laserdiscs, probably a hunderd LPs and three turntables. It's always interesting to see the things that never made the format switches or see something that has been changed after a given release.

That sums up what I think may be even remotely of interest to the folks here.

Happy collecting and even happier gaming!

Hello Peoples!

Been lurking this place for about a week. My name is Jay Im 33 and Im officially an "old school" gamer. Don't worry, Im not gonna be the grand pa and tell you how it was in my day.

Im from Philly, live with my fiance and we have a little boy. My girl and I are both from the 80's and we enjoy things from that era so basically everything RETRO.

As far as systems go, it seems like ive owned everything since NES, though a lot of my stuff got damaged in a bad flood years ago.

Im not the gamer that I was when I was a kid but I love the games from the NES/Genesis era. Side scrollers, RPGs, fighters and arcade ports. Currently I own XB360, PS3, Vita and and NES, and looking to get into some collecting. Personally im into art, I draw, paint and dabble in photography, Im a fairly good cook and Im most efficient on a BBQ!

Hope to have fun and learn some stuff along the way from the new generation of Videogamers. This seems like a really cool site and so far been enjoying the articles.

Thanks!!!

Whats up? I'm new to retro gaming. I'm interested in collecting NES carts. I was searching for a American retro gaming forum and found Racket Boy. :)

Hello there, I'm a 21 year old gamer University Student who has a huge passion for video games. I generally collect for a wide spectrum of consoles yet the biggest segments of my collection are the PC, SNES and the Nintendo 64, of which I am attempting to go for a full cart set of. I am a collector of pirated Game Boy (Color) cartridges and have over time been expanding my collection of them.

I've been around at different communities out there so you might have possibly come across me at one point or another, yet I currently go by the name of Sysop on Digitpress.

I'm sorry if I wasn't too informative with this post, yet if you have any questions for me, I am more than happy to answer them.
