Not going to the theater after all today as a man in full body armor went on a random shooting spree, shooting several, if not dozens, and also killing at least one at point blank range. The main road has been closed off.
He went to a Wal-Mart parking lot and shot at random, and also shot at the Toys'R'Us which is in the same shopping center.
The shooter has been neutralized, and that's about all I know other than witnesses are saying hundreds of shots may have been fired.
Crazy.

Had the same thing happen to me a few years ago. It's a very surreal feeling to think you or anyone you know could have been there given chance.

Fu-k if this is going to keep me from a new Pixar film. Might take me an extra half hour of driving (total), but I'm off here soon for a 2:15pm est showing.
Certainly, it is crazy to think of what just happened, so close to home. Sounds crass, but these guys should be eliminated on scene. This guy doesn't deserve the pleasure of jail.
