I'm worried about you, son.
Jinx and I moved our family from a town with a population of 3,000 to Houston. Small towns have their charm, but not many jobs (at least for our fields). Sometimes it's something you have to do, not something that you want to do. Not that we regret it, I kinda like it here.
After looking it up, the population is closer to 3,000 than 5,000. The higher number was just my guess.

I get claustrophobic in big towns, let alone big cities. I'm more okay with places like Lubbock or San Angelo where it is spaced out better, but something like Austin or Houston gets me bothered if I'm there too long. I'm lucky currently, as entertainment wise I'm in a good area of the state- but I could make due otherwise.
Plus, cities means more interaction with people I don't know/don't have any mutual friends with. I'm not a fan of that past a quick talk if I'm buying something or some such.
I have spent all week running between pa and md trying to settle moms estate and get her ashes that a pastor of a moravian church refuses to return them cause she took it upon her self to have moms ashes sent to her when she had no legal right to do so the lawyer told me to get a letter of administration so i could legally obtain her remains i go down and she said in good moral standing she could not give me moms ashes even though i was legally entitled to them her husband looked at the letter and threw it back at me and asked me who the f--- am i he knows who i am when he made a move toward me my brother and foxhound came walking up he ran in the house and called the cops the police could not make her give them back he pleaded with her as a human being to return them and she said nope Everything is hitting me at once the estate crap, paying for a lawyer and trying to help my brother find a home along with crippling depression and a million other things
I was asked out on a date by an attractive young lady today. I said no (obviously) - but I'm not gonna lie, it felt goooood to be asked. BONE STILL HAS GAME.
Bullshit. You do not slug for 3 weeks on an RMA. Then send me a card that doesn't even work. I'll take back the noisy fan bearing. Seriously. What in the actual fuck.
Not to mention their customer service has been slow as shit during the whole process.
Ticked - After a damn near 14 hour work day, I came home to a frantic wife and a garage that had close to a quarter of an inch fo standing water in about a third of it. It had rained hard shortly before I arrived so we know it is not an issue with the pipes - it has happened before but it was always just a small puddle, not this much. So next time it is supposed to rain, Sunday, I will be camped out in the garage watching and waiting. Sadly cleaning it up and moving anything not waterproof out of the garage took up the entire evening. We should have the money for the repair but it is currently siloed elsewhere.
Spent the day at Mall of America w/the kiddos. Really impressed w/the kids - we got in line for the Ice Age exhibit, was gonna be $48 for 25 minutes of entertainment - all 4 of my kids were like, "This looks pretty boring - let's go do something else."
Went to a few stores, spent some time at the Lego store and Marbles Brain Store, then an hour in the Namco Arcade and met up w/my wife's mother at Rainforest Cafe.
If you were there, I was wearing a white long sleeve Bears T and Khaki docker pants, - I shaved my moustache, so was just wearing the bike strap, which is pretty thick right now. Amy was wearing green capris and a Blue girl scout anniversary shirt, Emlynn was wearing tan capris and a matching girl scout shirt. Aidric was wearing brown shorts and a white T w/a brontosaurus, the brontosaurus' neck wraps around the shirt neck and comes back round the other side. Tagan wore a Blue stegosaurus shirt and the spikes are 3D (come off the shirt) and Aislynn wore cotton candy.
