Nope. I did not pre-order it. I simply strolled into a store late last year and bought my copy of the game.Sasha_Blue wrote:I did a little research on it and apparently it was a very limited print run. As for as I know, they only made enough copies for those who only pre-ordered it.
Too early to start talking about rare/valuable Wii games?

Thanks for pointed that out. Here in my local area, a friend of mine wanted to buy it but all the gamestops had only enough copies for pre-orders only. I talked to people on the forums and they said the same thing.prfsnl_gmr wrote:Nope. I did not pre-order it. No problem. With the current prices, I am just glad that I picked up my copy when I had the chance!Sasha_Blue wrote: Thanks for pointed that out. My copy of Xenoblade is still sealed with the pre-order artbook, but I'm wondering if I should keep hanging on to it or sell it on Ebay soon. I can't ever see a reprint for the Wii, but possibly for Wii-U at some point...

I hope you have a second opened copy. The game is quite good. Another confirm on the earlier preorder query, I also bought mine new simply by walking in. Regret not getting the Artbook though.Retrogamer0001 wrote:My copy of Xenoblade is still sealed with the pre-order artbook, but I'm wondering if I should keep hanging on to it or sell it on Ebay soon. Only game I know that is up there in price is the previously mentioned Xenoblade.

Picked up Lost in Shadow the other day. A "rare" game but not necessarily valuable - at least not yet.

It is such a cool game. I love the art direction, and I really need to spend some more time with it after the summer gaming challenge.BoneSnapDeez wrote:Picked up Lost in Shadow the other day. A "rare" game but not necessarily valuable - at least not yet.
Re: Too early to start talking about rare/valuable Wii games
The thing I hate about rare/valuble games in general is that if I happen to own one (like Radiant Dawn, amazing game), I feel the urge to buy a second copy in order to have a backup in case something happens to my original. But of course by the point the paranoia sets in, the game has already scaled the prices.
