I know its looking really great. lots of improvements from the demo. most notably the menu with and much improved equiping section. glad i preordered. oh and marketing is pretty much on forums and through the official website. tons of info on the sega-16 forums. the developers post there all the time and have been very responsive to suggestions.

I just pre-ordered the cheap copy (I don't need my name in the game). I'm wondering if I ought to pre-order a couple since... you know what happened with Beggar Prince. It's impossible to find and costs an arm and leg now.

actually Beggar Prince is in stock on the official website with much improved artwork and increased save compatability. they also ported another rpg from taiwan called legend of wukong. which will be available in december. you can try the original rom to test it even though they have supposedly made many updates beyond translation. it looks promising.

I should check those out then, tho I have to say that Pier Solar has me the most excited. It really looks like an amazing game.

Btw, I went with the JPN Mega Drive style cover. Which one did you get?

Say what? I thought because the game is multi-lingual they would be in different languages if you choose another reagion besides PAL or NSTC-U. Are you sure it's still in english? Or do they have an option now to select cover art. I pre-ordered about a month ago....and that wasn't an option, nor any posts on Sega-16 reguarding this. hmmm...

Anyway, I choose the good ol USA genesis version. It'll match all my other boxed genesis titles...so i went with it.

All of them are in English, but the different versions have different language selections, so if you get the Japanese one, you can choose to play in English or Japanese. I think the NA version has three different languages, same with the EU one. And the cover art is different, but not the artwork itself, just the style (ie, Mega Drive JPN, Mega Drive EU or Genesis NA). It was a tough choice for me because I think on the one hand I'd rather the artwork style match the cart (meaning all the carts are Genesis style, regardless), but I like being able to switch between English and Japanese (not that I'm planning on playing it in Japanese much).
