It hasn't been 23 years since "God Hates Us All".
That was a terrible album, in fact I think it was their worst album. Seasons in the Abyss was their last good one.

I never said it was better than "Seasons in the Abyss," that would be insanity.

But I still think "God Hates Us All" is a fan-freaking-tastic album.

That reminds me, when Hanneman died, Westboro went on their typical tirades, talking about how he was horrible we're gonna protest his funeral blah blah.

One of the things they said though was "God Hates Us All - Good album by Slayer." I'll admit, I chuckled.

They may think he's terrible, but at least they're fans!

I wasn't ever a fan of Venom really. Never really grabbed my attention.
Ah, I gotcha. That's a shame.
LAY DOWN YOUR SOUL TO THE GODS' ROCK AND ROLLLLLL.

I can't think of Venom without laughing inside. "Black Metal" is the only song by them I've ever heard though. They seemed to be pretty full of themselves, at least for that song.

Burn in Hell.

No, really, it's a Venom song:

Venom is extremely historically important and those first few albums are a lot of fun.

Oh, I don't mean to say they are a bad band. Just that the song amused me, though perhaps in a way they didn't intend.
