where'd you snag that?!Gunstar Green wrote:
As a Genesis guy it's kind of a sin that I didn't have this one already. It never clicked with me in the past but it's a popular favorite with a lot of people.
CIB for ten bucks was too sweet to say no to though.

Xbox Jet Set Radio Future / Sega GT 2002 - $5.00 BookOff
Already have a disc only copy of Jet Set. Nice getting the combo pack with both manuals. Both games are on one disc; even on the combo disc Jet Set needs the same 480p Workaround as the stand alone diusc for the Xcalibur Xbox.
PS2 Thrillville - Gamestop $1.79
I recently bought this game, but the case was a Greatest Hits Red Label and the disc was black label. I don't really mind either or since there is no additional levels but want at least a matched set. Could not find a red disc but one Gamestop had a CIB for under two bucks! This is uncommon considering their reputation of tossing out cases.
Thrillville is more then just managing an amusement park and building coasters. There are various Retro games hidden amongst the mini games inside.
Metal Gear Solid Guide / PSM Sept 1999 - 0.50 ¢ Each Thrift Store
Fear Effect Guide / Silent Hill 2 Guide $1.00 each Thrift store
All the books are in very good condition. The Metal Gear and PSM are especially nice finds, the Metal Gear guide still has the poster inside. Really bright colorful pages with large photos (unlike today's guides) inside taking me back in time. There is an EB Games advertisement in the PSM for PS1 Final Fantasy VII at $19.99, if we all had only known back then!
PS2 Blood Rayne - $5.00 BookOff
Finally now have both 1 and 2 for the PS2. There was also the DVD crappy BloodRayne movie with a bonus PC Blood Rayne 2 Disc, but I passed on that.
PS2 PAL Lemmings - Demented Collector
Lemmings never received a US release so this was a very very sweet find. I am replaying all the old PC/Amiga levels again on the big screen! Even works great with a Trakball or Mouse using a SmartJoy Frag. This game was a little more tricky to convert to NTSC, but I found a new method.
PAL to NTSC Guide - http://www.racketboy.com/forum/viewtopi ... 23#p388723
PS2 PAL Silent Hill - Demented Collector
Bought this for the bonus exclusive to PAL, Making Of Silent Hill DVD. I don't mind the missing outer sleeve of the game set since I got a great price; it gets a BookOff Plastic Wrap for protecting the cardboard case. The game has extras not in the US Black Label release which also makes it valuable. Since I already own the sometimes hard to find US Greatest Hits with the same PAL bonus content, I see no need to convert the game. However, although another member has done so. The DVD did need a NTSC conversion, I was really surprised how easy it was. Both the PAL game and PAL DVD video are detailed in the PAL NTSC Guide.
I'm kind of a nut, love anything Resident Evil and Silent Hill. The Dino Crisis is a Press Release Macromedia Preview. The Art Of Silent Hill was an online download, I dumped additional Silent Hill web page guides, rewrote all the links for offline and included additional beautiful Googled JPGs onto a CDR.
I love PAL blue cases, they really stand out!

It popped up on Half.com when I happened to be looking. That place is a crapshoot but sometimes you get lucky.dsheinem wrote:where'd you snag that?!

Yeah, last summer I found some good deals on Lunar Silver Star (sega cd): $20, Tales of Destiny 2 (ps1): $50, and a few other rpgs well below their ebay prices.

A soccer game, missile command, and I forget the other two.CRTGAMER wrote:Very very nice! The Atari 5200 is a great system, that game is perfect if you ever come across a 5200 Trakball. What were the other four titles?
The box wasn't in as great of shape for Missile Command or I would have grabbed that

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
thanks! this was at a local Disc Replay, they have a deal where if you buy 5 things you get another one for free (cheapest one, obv), so i took advantage of that and they also had a deal where if you checked in on facebook while you were there they gave you another 10% off. i didn't want to pull out the credit card but i guess this qualifies as an "emergency" when you find this much CIB stuff in one placeprfsnl_gmr wrote:This is a great score, BTW.aaron wrote:picked up the following tonight for $94 total. all CIB.![]()

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
So went out today for the first time in a while... Only made a few stops but had good luck. Two different people pulled stuff out of the house when I asked about old games. Love when that happens, and another example of why I need to ask more often!

First garage - earthworm Jim 1 & 2 both complete and in good condition. The second game is the cardboard box cut to fit into a plastic case but still has the poster. Paid 4.00 for both
3rd garage sale - had the NES stuff in a box on a shelf not for sale and pulled them out when I asked. No cords or controllers but 2 toaster boxes. And te following games... RC Pro Am, skate or die, dr. Mario x2, adventure island, track &fueld II, baseball, gauntlet, super Mario 3, SMB-DH-WCTM, super c, California game, tmnt, tmnt II arcade, Tetris, Super Mario 2. Also tossed in arcade classics for Genesis. Paid 20.00 for the lot
Last stop of day, pawn shop- KOTOR and KOTOR II for 7.50 total

Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
Is KOTOR as overpriced in the states as it is here? ($30ish)
