What was the last movie you've seen?

That's the year my pals say as well, and they know much more about movies than I do.

My Lady is watching MOONRISE KINGDOM for the first time while I'm watching a bunch of overpaid dudes playing with a ball. I keep running downstairs during commercial breaks to catch bits and pieces of one wonderful movie.

It really is a treasure of a film in all aspects.

Possibly my favorite Anderson film, and I'll admit I don't like some of his stuff. But boy oh boy is the direction, acting, and writing incredible.

Even the things that make me feel uncomfortable I can relate to (that's an infinitive marker and not a preposition in this case, right?).

Wonderful film (well that's certainly an incomplete sentence, so I may be two for two concerning grammatical errors).

My favorite Anderson film is Resident Evil.

It might be your favorite, but it's not even close to that Anderson's best work. Event Horizon, Death Race, and Alien vs. Predator are all better films by a healthy margin over Resident Evil.

I'd add that any Wes Anderson film > any W.S. Anderson film

Seconded. I also greatly despise all the films I have seen starring Paul W.S. Anderson's wife, with the sole exception of The Fifth Element.
