Noby Noby Boy. It was developed by the same guy behind Katamari Damacy. I actually think it's fun, but the camera gets really annoying really fast.

Maybe a merge with General Norris's Thread? Some really strange games already listed there.

Oh come on CRT :) You know the appropriate response is:

We already have a thread for that.

To add, Bioshock Infinite is so insane and (ugh) surreal, that I need to take breaks. It's actually difficult for me to wrap my mind around what is happening in the game. Yars' Revenge is another game that is almost like a mental overload, but I've been gaming for over thirty years and Infinite still blows me away.

Child of Eden, ICO, FFX, FF7, SOTC, and El Shaddai also are "experiences"

I was looking for a thread like this and only Japanese games popped up.

Stretch Panic (PS2) is pretty bizarre... especially if you don't have the manual. Just getting started with that game is WTF?@!

hmmmm...I would have to say...50% of all games released during the NES era...

Seriously, if you tried to adapt the concepts in some of those games to modern consoles, it would make everything else listed in this thread seem quirky at best. Just try to imagine how Kid Niki: Radical Ninja (NES), Amagon (NES), or Flying Warriors (NES) would be adapted to a modern console.

Also, I have not yet played it, but I hear that Jaws: Unleashed (PS2/Xbox) is a pretty wild game...The concept certainly sounds great.

I'd say Sea Man. On one hand, it's pretty much just a virtual pet game. But really, talking to a fish with a human head that talks back is kind of a weirdsauce experience. Plus having Leonard Nimoy narrate, the title that's practically "semen", and the way it ends with them turning into frogs and playing a song...
IT'S A STRANGE GAME.

How am I the first person to be mentioning it in this thread? It used to be ALL THE WEIRDNESS back in the Dreamcast days.
Man now I really want to replay the game, but my dog chewed up the microphone...

(This is what happens when you mix poor skimming of a thread and then copying/pasting a title to find and someone else uses DIFFERENT SPACING.)

I have recently become acquainted with some pretty weird Commodore 64 games. Games like Rootin' Tootin' (where your character is a tuba) and Tooth Invaders (a game about brushing your teeth).
