Got TLOU (The Last of Us) and have sank about 8 hours into and spent all 8 hours on the edge of my seat enjoying the story and the various foes Joel and Ellie have to conquer to reach the fireflies.
Key feature (I thought were important)
Interaction
I think one of my favorite things in the game is how Ellie and Joel interact with each other. For example Ellie is a teenager discovering what life really is, while Joel rather forget what life was because of his loss'. you can feel the attachment they have for one another and even when pissed at one another, they still have each other’s back.
Combat
Ellie is a one of a kind partner, although at the end of the day she's just code and language you can’t help but love her, because time after time she will get you out of a bind wither it be giving you a heads up, or simply taking matters in to her own hands and smashing a bottle over the attacking goons head when he's not looking or too busy handing you a beating. She’s an asset to your team and that why I find myself being extra careful and taking out all the enemies in order to insure her safety. What I’m trying to say is that i have never had such a helpful or trustworthy AI like Eillie in all my gaming years, and that’s what makes this game so easy to be engulfed in.
Overall
TLOU is a masterpiece and work of art on so many levels, this is a game I feel all PS3 owners should have in their collection.

I am curious about Last of Us, but fear that the controls would put me off. Since I prefer legacy controls on a controller, than the "traditional" controls.
