Re: Wanna get into PSP gaming
2. It's on my list. Looks like a great game, but very long. 50 hours. I'd recommend it based on what I know.
3. I'm pretty sure it's the same as the PS1 version, but being portable is a huge advantage by itself. Haven't played either though.
4. I have this one and it's amazing.
Bonus:
Yes.

I'll be sure to get Half Minute Hero and Growlanser at some point.Valkyrie-Favor wrote:2. It's on my list. Looks like a great game, but very long. 50 hours. I'd recommend it based on what I know.

At first glance this looks like a bit of a spinoff from the Disgaea games? Never played any of them. Can I jump into the Disgaea games at any point?noiseredux wrote:Prinny!
These Prinny games look kind've interesting...

I really wish they had put a UMD slot on the Vita.
But yeah - the PSP is amazing. The Ys games are mandatory.

Re: Wanna get into PSP gaming
they're related only by characters. Disgaea are SRPG's while the Prinny games are sidescroller hack-n-slash games. Very different.CavZee wrote:At first glance this looks like a bit of a spinoff from the Disgaea games? Never played any of them. A few off the top of my head.
LocoRoco 1/2
Umihara Kawase
n+
castlevania
crush
Mega Mans.
Old game compilations (Sega Genesis, Capcom Classics)
Not too many others I know of right now. There are always PS1 classics...

Re: Wanna get into PSP gaming
If you have a PS2 I would recommend getting Ys VI for that platform instead. It's a botched port on the PSP.CavZee wrote:They were one of the key reasons why I was interested in the first place.BoneSnapDeez wrote:I really wish they had put a UMD slot on the Vita.![]()

I & II, III (Oath in Felghana), and VII are all amazing on the PSP, however.

Would rather stick to the original versions of the Mega Man and Castlevania games.
Yeah, that's what I read.BoneSnapDeez wrote:If you have a PS2 I would recommend getting Ys VI for that platform instead. Just seen there's a Power Stone Collection for PSP!?!? Holy crap, please tell me it's a good port. Would be way cheaper to get this instead of the DC versions.
Also, I've seen these "UMD dual packs" listed as well. Are those just two normal UMD cases packaged together or are both UMD's in one case?
