What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?
Re: What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?
Well, at the moment, it doesn't sound like he's trying to scam you and he does seem to be genuinely sorry for giving such poor service, so I would be inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt for now.
I'm not a glitch, I just have pixlexia.

The main thing that bugs the heck out of me though is he keeps saying oh it will be there next week over and over again. Also it is pretty annoying is the fact that he bothers putting "Ships priority" in the item descriptionRetrodude wrote:Well, at the moment, it doesn't sound like he's trying to scam you and he does seem to be genuinely sorry for giving such poor service, so I would be inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt for now.

I think if he actually sells online quite often, he should have just issued the refund the moment the 'family emergency' lasted more than a week. If you have something going on in your personal life, you shouldn't lead your customers on and tell them that you are going to hold up a sale when you can't. The fact that he has dragged this along for three months is just crazy to me. Also, the fact that this has happened to someone else makes me wonder just how creditable he is.Fragems wrote:The main thing that bugs the heck out of me though is he keeps saying oh it will be there next week over and over again. According to the feedback he has been shipping out on average 2-3 orders per day for the last 12 months, and it looks like 1 out of every 10-15 buyers gets the same experience I have been having
.
I would just leave an honest review. Other potential buyers need to know that this seller isn't really that committed to his customers.
I'm here for your body.

Is this an Amazon Marketplace seller? Let us know so we can avoid dealing with this company. I find decent deals on used games with their sellers all the time, but this is inexcusable. For a cable.Fragems wrote:ticked:
Still no SNES cable and it still hasn't shipped according to tracking.

Deutsch is my second language. Find a friend who speaks it fluently and start conversations with him/her. Best way to learn a new language if you ask me, which you didn't.jinx wrote:Started my German lessons again. I'm using games as motivation this time around by downloading German roms. I also started watching a Let's Play in German. I can understand it for the most part, but speaking it can be difficult for me. I really want to stick with it this time and finish my courses.
SMILE: HOME! So nice to be home. I'll post some pics from the wedding tomorrow, and since I spent a lot of time doing nothing I was able to beat several GB and GBA games which I will add to my game beaten list.
My speech killed, and I got both the bride and groom to cry and laugh so that gave me a smile.
WOW: My Uncle on my wife's side let me take his M5 for a twenty, maybe thirty minute spin. Hollllleeeeeee cow. My Pops has a Shelby Mustang, but the M5 is an entirely different animal. I'd never drop coin on a car, but I have to say that ride was unbelievable.
It is straight drive, and when I went into first I thought "This is going to be fun", and I was correct. Driving that car was a total blast.
Whine: I'm beat. This weekend and wedding has left me exhausted. I'll post a wedding post with pics and all the details down to the dance I did that got a standing ovation (it's the "ugly mug" dance from the Fresh Prince), but for now, I'm pooped. Might post a few in the movie thread and call it a night/day.
And YO!
HAPPY FATHER'S DAY to all the Fathers on the board, and their Fathers as well.

Re: What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?
- When I started buying Wii games I was an idiot and threw out most of the Club Nintendo inserts. Just figured they were crappy useless advertising or whatever.
- I also either lost or tossed the Club Nintendo insert that came with the Wii console - that's 100 points down the tubes right there!
- Most of my used games games don't have the Club Nintendo inserts.
Nintendo is kind of a bastard as well. The DS isn't worth any points, but revisions like the DSi are. Also, some games only come with points if you get the digital version (like Etrian Odyssey IV and Code of Princess). What the hell!
Anyway, I'll get there....... Just hope "Ball" is still available at the end of the year.

Oh. Well, he should have still refunded you after putting it off for a week. That's just bad customer service.Fragems wrote:

I just might be able to help you with the pointsBoneSnapDeez wrote:After ignoring Club Nintendo for years, I finally decided to tally up my points. I have 1010!
The best prize (Game & Watch: Ball) goes for 1200. I would have reached that mark but.....

Thanks! You're under no obligation to do such a thing of course, but I'd appreciate it.
