My bassist and I finally kinda worked our differences out and decided that we'd each take care of a flier. One show me, one him, etc etc. I suppose that's not too bad but I know he's still gonna do that crazy font/color shit. I also asked to please not have any titties on our future fliers. Anyway I sent him something I made today in about 45 minutes and he actually liked it. That was surprising, but I am kinda happy with the way it came out. I was kinda going for a comic book look, but I made a couple of different versions.

So, I light it on fire, but it just won't take off - I decide to douse it w/gasoline straight from the plastic can. Apparently, there was still enough of a flame present that it jumped from the stump, up the flow of gas and straight to the can - I panicked and dropped the can, now the flame was inside the can and basically a 5 gallon bomb sitting there.

Wow, that's scary. I use diesel fuel to get a burn pile going or use Cookie's suggestion of kerosene.

Back to work after a weekend of feeling like crap.
My supervisor isn't here tonight. It doesn't really matter, but for some reason I always feel more relaxed.
Vacation is in two weeks!

Still need one more GBA and a Dreamcast Keyboard before I go. The only way I'm going to be able to get them in time is to purchase them from a store. No way I'm dropping that much money on a Game Boy when I already have three and a DS Lite. Sucks, but it looks like we'll be one Link down in Four Swords.
Started my German lessons again. I'm using games as motivation this time around by downloading German roms. I also started watching a Let's Play in German. I can understand it for the most part, but speaking it can be difficult for me. I really want to stick with it this time and finish my courses.

EDIT:

We've had several issues with my insurance since I acquired benefits with this company. Don't take this the wrong way; I love having any benefits at all, because I know what it's like to be without them. However, I had to fight to get my dental work covered in the past (which was a simple cleaning) and now I'm trying to add on my kid to the plan. The price jumps up TWENTY times higher (not over-exaggerating). I can see it tripling or even quadrupling when adding somebody on, but 20x the amount I'm paying for myself? What the hell...

Went to a local indoor flea market today and came across a video game re-seller. I saw three sega genesis games boxed that I have looking for. Cool Spot, Wonderboy, and Toe Jam and Earl. He also had loose carts of other systems that I was looking to get. Problem is none of the stuff had prices on them. I listed the games I wanted and gave him an offer. He literally pops out his IPAD and loads up ebay/amazon. He says he will go 5 dollars less than what Ebay/Amazon have and he doesn't know the prices on his stuff. Total for 5 games, the three above with xmen 2 and samurai showdown for $120.

I tell these people "If I wanted to pay eBay prices I would just shop on eBay."

My local flea market game guy has ridiculous prices on his Atari stuff - $5 for loose 2600 carts and $10 for loose 5200 carts. His stock is collecting dust... I wonder why.

Well, to a certain extent, I'm willing to pay a slight premium just to see it in person as opposed to buying it online. Of course, that really depends on the game and the condition that I'm going for.

Although, I give more leeway on that matter with a physical than I would with a flea market.
