Community yard sale day. I didn't expect there to be much and there wasn't but I grabbed this for 50 cents.

And for an additional 50 cents at another location:

Other than that it was mostly last gen sports games. Somebody had some PlayStation 1 RPGs but was asking a bit too much and I wouldn't have bought them to keep anyway.

Since I was carrying my son, a local pawn shop cut me a Father's Deal on some used games. I picked up:

Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey (DS; CIB);
Puyo Pop (GBA; cart); and
Silent Hill: Shattered Memories (Wii; CIB)

for $14. It is not a free cabinet (great find, BTW) - and SMT: SJ does not, unfortunately, include the soundtrack CD - but I estimate that I still received $50+ worth of games for less than 1/3 of their market price.

it's sealed, so that's nice. But eh. That goes for like $10ish usually not sealed. Still... a nice collection.

...

Yard Sale Hauls:

all 3 Burger King games (360), RLH (Xb) w/ soundtrack and THPS4 strategy guide = $9.

Game Stop pickups:

Qubed (sealed), Sega Superstars Tennis, Xbox Arcade, Duke Nukem Forever (360) = $11.

Yeah I figured the Saturn game wasn't worth too much.

The seller actually tried to sell me two for $40 - but I didn't think it would even be worthwhile to try to flip a second copy.

Still, I'm happy to find any Saturn game here in rural Maine!

The neckboard thing just seemed obvious, and the bulbs are still not generating as much light as they should, however, just by removing it, cleaning it, and resetting all the other connections and I had blue screen. From there it was just a matter of adjusting pots and blammo - all good. Incredibly psyched.

Now, the tough part. Do I leave it a Tetris cab, or do I wire the rest of the buttons and drill out the control panel? I think i'll leave it as Tetris for a few weeks as I wrap up other projects - but this will be a great fall project. Even though I have it working for all JAMMA games, I can't do much with them with just one button currently.
 Very very nice find! You know me, I would Mame it or go your Multicart route. Unless the Arcade Cab is really something special such as Space War (which is vector anyways) I think having just one game in a cabinet might get boring after a while.

Oh go ahead and post what you paid, who cares if you resell it. The phenominal prices are part of the fun in reading thru this Thread.

That vintage Gameport Flightstick can be made to work on a modern PC.

About six years ago or so, I also found brown cardboard boxes full of these three pack saturn games.

Probably abandoned product from the supplier, or lost boxes in some old auction.

Some random seller had it. Mostly tools and car parts, matresses, random stuff.

But he had about three boxes of them.

He was selling them for 5 bucks each. I ended up buying about 6 of them.

The dude also had boxed Sega saturn Mouses too. I took two of them. He sold them for $3.00

I sold some of these off to some friends and gave one up in a saturn bundle that I sold a few years back. I opened one up and I think I still have two of them somwhere.

If I had a few more bucks I probably would have bought more.

Not a bad day at the thrifts today. The highlights:

*SNES w/RF & AC adapters, 2 controllers, & Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island- $21.50
*GBA SP w/charger (in pristine condition except for the fruity skin)- $25
*Road Rash (Genesis) CIB- $4

Swap Meet: $3 each:
NES games:
*Ice Climber (X2)
*Tecmo Bowl
*Destination Earthstar

32X games:
*Mortal Kombat II
*Cosmic Carnage
*Zaxxon's Motherbase 2000

N64
*War Gods- $4

It's actually been an uncommonly good week. I have never found an SNES and rarely find decent games for it. I've also found games for Turbo Grafx 16, 32X, and Sega CD which does normally happen.

- CRT, the SNES is all yours if you want to work out a trade. You know you want it!

Nice Finds! Now stop tempting me! (Looking around if wife sees me screening another console)

@ noise - I'm tempted to get those Burger King games myself, just because of the novelty. Are there really separate Xbox and 360 versions on the same disc? Are they any good, the hide game looks interesting with the creepy king sneaking about. :D

@ Gunstar Green - Very nice find on the 50 cent games! I love Ape Escape!
