So. Who can beat my high score?

The game allows you to adjust for input lag, but it's not very intuitive. I'm using a projection screen TV and an early 2000's Sony receiver. Surprisingly, no input lag at all. The visuals looked really sharp and bright. Sound was not as excellent as I thought it would be. Sounds like 192k AAC, which is good, but this is a Blu-Ray game! Would it kill them to use lossless!

Oh well. Game is amazing. Day one purchase for me. I'm happy with the demo. Three songs is fine, but I'm surprised I can only access the lower two difficulty levels. Seems like it would be better marketing to show all the complexity this game has to offer?

I felt a little strange using the analog stick to swipe, but I got used to it pretty quick. I was really surprised at the difficulty of "normal" mode. Clearing the songs was no problem, but it was more challenging than most "Hard" songs on the PSP games. This is a very good thing. Can't wait to try out World's End on Hard and Extreme! Impressed with the PV too. It was hilarious.

Now...the Japanese edit data better work with the US game!

The adjustments help, but they are no solution. I've used them extensively. Especially for edit play songs. The reason is because you are seemingly adjusting to put the notes ahead or behind the beat. Typically you'll want behind if you have lag. But the delay will still be just as long from input until registering. It will feel better, but the lag is still very noticeable on a bad TV. Things still feel off. It can be quite annoying when playing faster songs on extreme.

I had a similar experience with my old TV and Rock Band 2. That game was more forgiving, though, because of the simple note layout. I feel bad for anyone who has to play Project Diva that way. Anyone who wants it should definitely try the demo first.

If your TV is terrible, it would probably be smarter to import the Vita version.

Played the demo this day (HOW DID YOU GET A PERFECT?!) game is fun as the psp versions, but it feels so much smoother when the screen is full of notes that bothered me in the psp vversions but only on the harder songs, it distreacs me.

I also noticed the slowdown on the PSP version, but it didn't bother me too much. I always memorize the audio by the time I'm good enough to get a high score anyway. If you have CFW or PRO, maybe set the clock to 333 MHz? I haven't tried on this game, but it's made some others a lot more playable.

As for the perfect...It was only "normal mode" I had to try it several times, though.

The slowdown is nothing game breaking but sometimes im in weak state of mind and get distracted easily  . I have CFW and is on 333 MHz.

I allwyas get happy with gettin a great or excellent on each song  , i'm just want to unlock to view mode on each song.

If this come here i'm gonna buy it... not sure day 1... never got anything on day 1.

It will be my first Day 1 since Dissidia Final Fantasy, although I have done a few preorders for limited run games.
