Re: Video Game "Look what I found"
Agreed. That is one killer free-cab.
Good luck with the reno.

Free - Not Working TETRIS cab?
Wait...wait...we got something...
Ok, let's pop in a multi-cart JAMMA board, since that's what i'd use on something like this in the garage:
...and...FREE JAMMA CAB
So - I have to admit. The neckboard thing just seemed obvious, and the bulbs are still not generating as much light as they should, however, just by removing it, cleaning it, and resetting all the other connections and I had blue screen. From there it was just a matter of adjusting pots and blammo - all good. Incredibly psyched.
Now, the tough part. Do I leave it a Tetris cab, or do I wire the rest of the buttons and drill out the control panel? I think i'll leave it as Tetris for a few weeks as I wrap up other projects - but this will be a great fall project. Even though I have it working for all JAMMA games, I can't do much with them with just one button currently.

I would probably leave it Tetris myself, especially if it's not a conversion.

No one gives away stuff like that around here. Hell, the last time I saw and ad for a cab they wanted $1000 for it and it was beat up and broken

There was a guy at a boot fair I went to last year who had about 8 copies of this game all sealed. It was a bit sad.flojocabron wrote:A free arcade machine! F*ckin Awesome!

I wonder why he was struggling to sell a 10 year old portable sports game starring a women's football player from a country not particularly known for the sport?
My girlfriends brother bought a copy for 50p jus for the hell of it.
