For a country facing such an obesity epidemic as the USA, I find it rather distasteful that Microsoft are more than ready to employ such a marketing strategy. Let's just reinforce that harmful and downright incorrect stereotype of "gaming makes you fat". Oddly enough nobody ever draws the same conclusions to reading a book, or watching a film.

I think Microsoft need to take a leaf out of Nintendo's book and sell consoles based on the quality of your games not the colour of the packet of high-carb fat-saturated salty crap they're trying to force down your neck. I find that hard to swallow; this advertisement campaign even more so.

Yeah, but perhaps Microsoft wants the addiction associations with sugar and caffeine. They want people to NEED their console. Need it to watch them gorge themselves on the couch and then play Madden or Call of Duty.

I'm sorry, I couldn't hear you over the sound of myself eating all my deliciously fatty and salty snacks that will give me heart disease later in life.

It's really hard to hear people when you're eating pork rinds.

I saw a kid at the Best Buy Nintendo Demo event eating Pizza Gamer Grub. How can someone eat that crap? So sad.

Because each bite is overloaded with all the stuff you need to keep gaming at your frantic pace. When I'm in a marathon session of The Secret of Monkey Island I can't slow down to eat a real meal. Gamer Grub keeps me in the game!

Remember the Halo 3 Mountain Dew promotion? There was that too. The flavor was... quite bad.

Wasn't that the reddish orange one? Game Fuel? Or was that one the WoW flavor? Whichever was the reddish orange one I liked it, but it certainly was super duper sugary and I wouldn't want to drink it often.
