Predictions: Dish will find MAN OF STEEL to be mediocre* and will not like it as much as the original SUPERMAN.
WHITE HOUSE DOWN will flop at the box office.
THIS IS THE END will be funnier than I think it will be.
When THE GREAT GATSBY (2013) is released on Blu Ray people will think "Never heard of it".
*which over the course of time may prove him to be right.
What was the last movie you've seen?

I don't care for the original and have no plans to see this one.Luke wrote:Predictions: Dish will find MAN OF STEEL to be mediocre* and will not like it as much as the original SUPERMAN.

Two out of three ain't bad.

But you put four predictions!Luke wrote:Two out of three ain't bad.

It's early, and there is no euphemism for three out of four that I know of other than "three out of four dentists prefer Oral-B toothbrushes".Ack wrote:But you put four predictions!Luke wrote:Two out of three ain't bad.

THIS IS THE END
Pretty good, mostly the goofy cussing filled humor these guys are known for. It also mixes in some dark humor, along with a lot of sex jokes. Towards the end it makes more religious jokes, but never in a negative fashion, so be aware of that.
The humor won't fit all, but fans of this type of humor will like the movie.

My good man what is wrong with you? Superman 78 is awesome. Its got Christopher Reeve, Valerie Perrine (and her lovely rack) and Gene Hackman!dsheinem wrote:I don't care for the original and have no plans to see this one.Luke wrote:Predictions: Dish will find MAN OF STEEL to be mediocre* and will not like it as much as the original SUPERMAN.

I ask whats wrong with you in jest, of course. But... how do you not like Superman the Movie?
Re: What was the last movie you've seen?
I feel a bit bad for Routh of SUPERMAN RETURNS. The guy is great, but wasn't in a great movie. There have been a lot of "Superman over the years" articles, and even on EW Routh is absent.
The few people I know who have met him only say nice things about the guy, and also that it's tough for him to catch a break.

That guy explains it better than I ever could. I don't think it's the greatest superhero movie ever like he does, but I do think it's vastly underrated and doesn't deserve all the hate it gets.
I'm not a glitch, I just have pixlexia.

Super snark mode on (just giving you silly guff):
He starts out with, "I love this movie. Me and my girlfriend love this movie". Well that makes three people I know on the net who love it.
And it's more excuses than reasons why he likes the movie. "So what?" isn't a valid reason to love a movie.
