How do you remove Genisis from Sega CD?

Btw the metal shield things are useless unless your using RF, and who uses RF anymore.

Dynamite obviously.

The Gen should slide to the left about 1/2 to 3/4 inch. Then life up. It's probably just being ornery and not wanting to slide over.
