So you're going dressed as the Joker?

I'd rather go as "cell phone bomb in the tummy" guy.

Just wish they would have thought things through. This is the most expensive/cheap wedding I've ever had to attend. The pictures are all going to be a mess with guys sweating their balls off and the women's make up smearing from the heat and possible rain.

I also can't stop thinking about Adam Sandler saying "Air Conditioning!".

For my sister's wedding six or seven years ago we wore a white tux with purple vest and tie. It was the most horrible outfit I've ever been forced to wear. Truly hideous.

It gets better. During the final fitting you only try on the shirt, shoes, pants, and jacket.

The bottom of the tie rests about half a foot above my belly button, and the tux seems to be fitted for someone a foot shorter than me.

I'm bringing a change of clothes for the reception. Even my proms were better thought out than this wedding. Old people will be passing out, I almost guarantee it. It's simply too fudging hot for an outside wedding.

I bought another tux accessory, an Off! clip on fan that I'll be wearing on my belt. My Mother in law called me and said "Be prepared for tons of mosquitoes and flies. Buy Off! spray, or an off bracelet or something to repel bugs". So here it is:

I won't show, but hopefully it will still work.

The couple aren't actually Christians, so by the grace of God I hope the ceremony is "Do you, and do you?". And I guess after the "yes's" the reception starts since the reception is held outside near a barn? I have no clue.

Saying nothing negative around my wife, but ugh.

I've never understood long weddings. The only wedding I've been at where the actual ceremony was over 30 minutes was a Catholic one I went to, and that one took foreeeever.

Never been to a religious ceremony that took more than 12 hours to complete?

Roman Catholic weddings are short and sweet. Greek Orthodox, not so much.

But when you are IN the wedding like I am, it's an entire day. Waiting...Pictures...Waiting...Video...Waiting...More Pictures...Waiting..going to the ceremony...Waiting...Finally the ceremony...Waiting...More pictures...Waiting...More pictures...car ride home.
