Can't Start Races in Road Rash (Game Boy)

Post by BRIK »

Hey everyone, I have a quick question. Recently I obtained a copy of Road Rash for the Game Boy. While it boots up fine and I can browse through the various menus, when I start a race I just get a black screen. I've cleaned the contacts with rubbing alcohol and q-tips, and I've tested it on a Game Boy Color and an SP, but I still have no luck.
Any ideas?

did you change weather from "night time" to "daylight"?

I also have this problem, as does someone else I know. Perhaps a batch of faulty games were made? Mine's a DMG-H5-UKV cart.
