That's horrid. Why wouldn't you kill something that you know is so venomous?
We drank a lot in college and didn't always make the best decisions.
Frown: It's not the fact that WB dropped DUMB AND DUMBER 2 that makes me frown, it's the reason why they decided to drop it. I wasn't exactly a fan of BURT WONDERSTONE, and yeah it bombed with critics and at the Box Office, but this is DUMB AND DUMBER, and not a movie about magic that features Carrey. Jim wasn't even in BW that much.
Weird: The reviews of MAN OF STEEL are all over the place. I saw it reach nearly 80% at rotten tomatoes, and now it is at 67%.
That's awesome! I had no idea there was a new one coming out. With the price of the 3DS where it is, I think I may get it as well. I've been debating getting a Vita, but the 3DS is much more affordable for me.

I needed it because of a half an hour long airsoft pistol fight with an ornery and agitated six+ foot long black rat snake in my living room/dining room at 2am last night. Seriously. Epic battle, blood on the walls, lunging and hissing, a brilliant fucking headshot, the whole bit. Intense. I carried his corpse in a pizza box to the ditch behind the house.
I don't like killing anything (even snakes). There were no other good options though, as he'd already spooked the dogs and I don't want my wife and three year old to walk around the house in constant fear (which they would), nor do I want any of our regular guests to have an encounter with him. I'd tried everything I could to get him outside/keep him outside before when I've found him in the basement or elsewhere near the house, but slithering through the living room while the dog was sleeping and I was grabbing a midnight snack was a bridge too far.
That...is...insane!
You are much more patient than me. I would very likely have killed it the first time it came into my home. (That said...I expect my dogs would have done the dirty work for me before I had the chance to do anything.)

Some of my friends had lots of snakes around where they lived growing up. We got good at swiftly beheading them with a shovel.

On the two occassions that I have had to kill a snake, a shovel was also my weapon of choice. I would love to see "snakes vs. shovels" worked into a video game at some point.
