I'm so glad that this is being released in the US and a physical release at that!

This is a surprise. I thought it wouldn't be localized, and was prepared to import it. I can wait a few more months
Demo comes out on the 12th. Let's show some support and download it. Let's all play it together. I hope more games like this can come over, digitally at least.
....I just discovered Sega made a K-On game that looks a whole lot like Project Diva.

I heard physical AND digital for US. Digital only for Europe. Unless something has changed?noiseredux wrote:Are we sure it will be physical? Sega Addicts is reporting download only
On the official blog it isn't very clear:
Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F is slated for release on PlayStation 3 and via digital download on PlayStation Network in August 2013.

So, no Vita version for US?

Seems that way. Pretty unfortunate. Hopefully Vita owner's voices will be heard and we can at least get a digital download or something. Regardless, I already have the Japanese version, and it comes highly recommended.MrEco wrote:So, no Vita version for US?

Alright, welp, played the demo. And I friggin suck at it. But it's still soooo fun.
I think part of the problem is that it's a bit hard for me to track the icons on the screan when their on my TV, cause my eyes have farther distance to travel. If it was on the smaller Vita screen I'm sure that wouldn't be an issue.

Can't wait to give it a go. I've been playing Project Diva on the PSP for long time.

Sit further away if you need to. Personally I love sitting close.MrEco wrote:Alright, welp, played the demo. And I friggin suck at it. But it's still soooo fun.

Another thing that is VERY important to note is input lag on certain TVs. At first I had issues with lag on my LG LCD TV. Or so I thought. I realized it was delay from my sound system because I had HDMI to my TV and then optical from the TV to speakers. I switched it to a direct connection from my PS3 to speakers and all is good.
Input lag, however, is AWFUL on my friend's TV. I'm taking like 6+ frames of lag. He has some sort of LG plasma.
Input lag isn't an issue on another friend's Sony.
Anyway, something to make a note of.
