These jokes are already getting over used, but I kinda love it. xD

I didn't want to mention Final Fantasy, but is it too much to ask for Nintendo to get Square on board?

Now i'm clutching at straws....
It's not about Square and Nintendo. Square always puts its big releases on the most powerful tech. It's probably even in their mission statement. Dragon Quest is back on Nintendo consoles, though, even if the series is more about multiplayer than anything, now.

I was really excited for Versus XIII before the name change, but historically, I have not been a fan of Nomura Tetsuya's work in the main FF series. Naming shouldn't really change too much about this one, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to be pissed with people after its release: Either for lauding its battle mechanics, or for panning it as 'not Final Fantasy enough.' One thing I can be fairly certain of is that the story will be absolute gibberish.

I get really tired of Nintendo seemingly trying to prove me right in the belief that all they have left is branding, and 20+ year old IPs, but I have to say that seeing the potential implementation of Mega Man as a character in Smash, and the Wii Fit Trainer's inclusion was actually a bit exciting. I still think there's going to be a lot of bitching about it not being tournament friendly, but it looks interesting. I'm most curious if Sonic and Snake will be making it back into the roster, though.

I bought my PS3 bundle from them last Black Friday.

That's probably not exactly what you were referring too, as I've never pre-ordered a console from them before, but it did arrive in perfect condition if that's one of your worries.

What I got from the Nintendo Conference... You had good first party titles and basically what you expected there.. You even had Project X which looks like it could be the best new IP showing at E3.. The bad was of course lack of third party support and the fact that not many games overall were shown.. Also the 3D Mario doesn't look that great.. Mario Kart 8 looks awesome and aside from the new characters, the new SSMB looks great as well..

It just sort of amazes me that Nintendo has been getting by on the same formula for so many years now. Buy our console for the first party stuff!

I think Nintendo is just better as a handheld company. I mean the DS, the Gameboy Advance and even the 3ds with some of the big releases coming this year just seem to always have more games on offer than Nintendo's main consoles. I don't think it would even hurt the industry all that much if they just dropped out of the console business altogether and stuck exclusively to handhelds.

Then Sega can release a new console! Of course I'm kidding. That's never gonna happen

I liked seeing the developers talk about that new Sonic game. They pointed out some typical issues with the Sonic games that people don't usually pick up on. They seemed rather enthusiastic about their game too.

Oh, and the new Batman, can't wait. It doesn't seem like a big departure from what we've seen, but I think this formula works. I think they are essentially doing what Rocksteady did with Arkham City, just add on to the formula rather than change it. I can't wait to beat the shit out of more Gotham city punks with new combat moves! Oh and I'm going to have a blast with the combat challenge rooms :D

Not too worried since I buy everything from them haha, but yeah just curious about the speed and whatnot. But with Prime maybe I shouldn't worry at all?
