Cool, I am in now. Ordered Watchdog also. Anyone check out the vids on it yet, any opinions?

Wife wants Knack, just didnt seem to be my style game.

By the way, this will be my first launch console that is mostly just for me. Got the WiiU at launch but that is mainly for the ladies of the house. 39 years old LOL, figured I have waited every other time, it might be nice to do it once.

I am excited for watchdog, but will be buying it for the WiiU, even if it ends up being an inferior port. I want my dollar vote to be cast for more games like that and even more so for it to be on Nintendo's system. I am stoked for what is to come from the system. They have some incredibly talented developer's under their wing, Sony. Quantic Dream can do amazing things with the tech and tell one hell of a story. If they put up some exclusive PS4 stuff in the future, it will be a deciding factor for me. (I got the PS3 for Heavy Rain and the Shadow of the Colossus/ICO HD re-release).

I am excited for this next generation.

My backlog still has games that are 10-15 years old, so I won't be diving headfirst into this generation like most of you will, but I just have this to say

And I also hear the PS4 is going to be region-free? That's another huge plus.

Just put down on a preorder. Rather, I was picking up Animal Crossing and my dad decided to preorder it for me since he knew i would want one apparently. I'm okay with that. He's footing 1/4 of the cost.

It probably just doesn't have standard region protection, just like the PSP, PS3, and Vita don't. Publishers can elect to use it, but it's not a given, and in turn is actually pretty rare to see.

I actually preordered a PS4 on Amazon. I don't usually go for consoles on launch, but I'm liking a lot of what I'm seeing for it, so it seems inevitable.

Yea. There could be a few region locked games down the line. Maybe. Persona 4 Arena is the only region locked game I know of for the PS3. Don't know of any for the PSP or Vita, but there could be a few.

make sure you preorder a second controller. They are suspose to be in less supply than the console itself.

I preordered call of duty and watchdogs myself. After watching watchdogs live on the stream last night kinda excited. Seems like a different take on some of my favorite games. CoD is just a given for me. After that waiting on a few q1 releases and alot of the indie games.
Yep, I know im the one ya love to hate.

I thought about it for a minute and then I realized that nobody in my house plays two player games anymore LOL. Though we game in the same room we are always playing something different.

Got myself a pre-order on Amazon. For the first time I'm looking forward to the next generation.
