Well yesterday I was out at best buy looking for some deals...got max payne and doom for ps3 both new for 40. Well while looking a employee goes HEY! Did you know you can preorder the xbox one now? REALLY?!?! Yes! And you can preorder the ps4 tonight!
Well After she said this I had my girlfriend with me...so I preordered 2 xbox ones. One in her name on in mine. Watching the live stream last night on the ps4 literally as the price was said amazon put it up for preorder...BOOM! got one....this morning I was at gamestop at 9:30 went in and yep...preordered number 2!
Does anyone else have this kinda problem? Ive gotten screwed in the past so I went all out to try to insure I get AT LEAST one of each.

Yeah ive noticed. In general it seems horrible. But reguardless of that, I refuse to turn down a next gen console...I mean this is the next huge part of gaming life lol.
But more so i guess my post is wondering if other people are as bad as me...I mean i have 4 preorders 2 for xbox 2 for sony...just due to how short handed gamers have been given consoles on release in the past.

I did, I cant help but try all next gen consoles on day one! I didnt preorder ANY games for it...where as I did several and a extra controller on the ps3.

The past generation really scared me of buying initial units. RRoD, the PS3 doing better but still getting plenty of broken units....I'll wait for the engineers to get around to fixing the problems before I spend 400€ on one
