The Funniest thing in all this even if the XBOX One did get a lead because, people are stupid. Sony STILL gets a cut on every system and every game sold since the XBOX One uses Blu Ray.

Sony co-developed the DVD too, you know. They're also part of the DVD forum that licenses the tech.

Re: Xbox One
I went into a gamestop today to pick up my preorder for animal Crossing New Leaf and the guy at the counter was on the phone talking to a customer who wanted to preorder the xboxone.
The clerk explained the differences between the PS4 and xboxone and encouraged the person NOT to preorder the XboxOne. How weird is that for a retail chain have someone say, "Don't buy that..buy this instead."
If Microsoft is upsetting gamers, and the people who sell the systems tend to be gamers or have knowledge of the gaming industry and those same people are in turn upset, wouldn't that affect sales?

Isn't it obvious? Microsoft is blocking used sales and thats how gamestop makes their money.BogusMeatFactory wrote:I went into a gamestop today to pick up my preorder for animal Crossing New Leaf and the guy at the counter was on the phone talking to a customer who wanted to preorder the xboxone.

Not really surprising. That was that guys opinion. I know when I worked at one I told people to buy an N64 over a PSX.BogusMeatFactory wrote:I went into a gamestop today to pick up my preorder for animal Crossing New Leaf and the guy at the counter was on the phone talking to a customer who wanted to preorder the xboxone.

Re: Xbox One
Apparently you can still buy used games for it...but from only abouy 7 venders that have yet to be announced, so gamestop is still in the dark. But that does mean NO ebay, NO forums, NO friends...you get the idea. They are doing it to make a buck off of ANYTHING used being sold. I dont agree, but I cant hate a console for wanting to make abuck...more so if it has a title that I cant play on a different console. Many great consoles of the past died due to one or another flaw...that had great potential...so sad.
Yep, I know im the one ya love to hate.
Re: Xbox One
This. I wouldn't be surprised if there was an unofficial word from corporate for associates to upsell the PS4 over the Xbox One.ninjainspandex wrote:Isn't it obvious?
