I'm a bit conflicted in regards to this game. I certainly think it looks great and am plenty excited to actually play it myself. But with it being a "next-gen" game as well I'm not sure I'll buy it right away. I really have no intention of buying a PS4 for quite a while and I'm certainly not getting none just to play the better version of this game. My dilemma is, do I go ahead and get the PS3 version? Or do I just wait it out a year or two for when I make the inevitable PS4 purchase?

I only managed to "play" MGS4 earlier this year. Maybe a Windows port will be announced down the line?

You played Twin Snakes right? What about the HD collection? If you played those, you obviously weren't too bothered by the fact that you'd already played 'inferior' versions on older systems.

The difference here is that I know the "superior" version is coming either at the same time, or shortly after.

I understand what you're getting at though.

What I want to know is, what are the key differences?
Is it just graphics? Is it 30fps vs 60fps? Is the scale of the world smaller? Is there exclusive content to the PS4 version? All questions I would need answers to before I decide.
