Will the Wii DS Player support GBA cartridges?

Will the Wii DS Player support GBA cartridges?

Does any of you know, if it is gonna support them? In that case I could finally sell my GC which I still keep just for the GBA Player
I've got no signature.

I can't imagine how they would market a DS player, especially as they marketed the Wii to be in the stand up shell, so a player wouldn't work with that.

Plus, it'd probably be easier to do a firmware update for the Wii that would let you connect the DS and play on the big screen. In that case, you could play the GBA games using the DS.

Well, it's possible they debuted the DS player along with the new DS game, Custer's Revenge II.
