It works pretty good.
That's not how it works. Seriously. Finding a nice girl? Hahaha, they're all hiding somewhere away from me. There's sluts, girls who just want to be friends, and those "above me" in my area, nothing more. Don't start this.

I dated one girl. For a month. That was my first girlfriend and first kiss.
Never dated a girl, never had a first kiss. And I believe I'm older than you.
Dude, I never had a girlfriend or anything until I was 22. I was always athletic; being on the track and soccer teams.

My biggest flaw is that I was/am extremely socially awkward. So being physically fit, never played into it. When I did actually get up the balls to ask a girl out, I got shot down everytime. Personality is a big part of what is attractive to the opposite sex, so if you constantly have a shitty attitude, then people don't wanna be around someone like that.

It seems like once I stopped caring about trying to find a girlfriend, then I started getting noticed. I'm not saying that's what will happen, but try not to stress yourself out about it as much.

I think everyone had a different species of women around them.

At my school, even with the socially awkward guys, if they are slightly fit they get girls. Looks are all that matters, and I do not have them. Six pack abs and skinny shoulders with thin legs is what the girls my age want, and thats what they go for.

Seriously, lets try a different subject.

You are resentful, anti-social, and jealous it seems. Your hate and comments about 'slutty' girls is evidence. They are slutty in a negative way because they aren't with you.

This and depression go hand in hand and help to cause each other in a downward spiral. I knoe, because I can identify with it to a degree.

Sometime in high school, I think my sophmore year, I 'broke out of my shell' and realized I should just stop giving a shit about all tjat and just enjoy myseld and open up.

Looks help sure, but personality, confidence, humor, amd overall positive outlook will get you far further with women and life. If you don't like yourself, how can you expect others to? If you give up and stop trying, you are failing before you even start and giving yourself no chance...

This was your pep talk of the day. Others can contact my agent to schedule appointments and I will be holding a special 'pep talk with John' section of the racketboy podcast.

Every now and then you get me audibly laugh, Luke.

Also, somehow, I don't like Shepherd quite as much as I did 5 minutes ago.

My moments are few and far between, but thanks.

As far as the current conversation goes, some dudes simply aren't acting like men. Doesn't matter what age you are, you don't call girls "sluts" or "bitches" or "whores" or the like. Feel free to call me dumb, stupid, faggot, or whatever you'd like, but insulting a girl/woman is just immature and uncalled for.

This isn't a "the stronger sex" talk, it's the "don't be a jerk" talk. Quit blaming other people for your short comings. I mean, have you ever looked at Matthew Perry? The guy is a two at best. Or even better, have you seen my pics? I look like Dusty Rhodes and Wayne Gretzky had a butt baby, and I can't remember a time where I wasn't making nice with ladies.

Grow a set. For cereal.

You guys are right. Luke, please excuse me for the comments towards the girls, its something I say a lot, and it slips too much.

Jmustang, your comment about me being angry at the girls because they aren't with me might be true. I don't really know.

But overall guys, I can't change how I feel. It took me years to get in control of my emotions, and it led to me being like this. I either act like this, or let my emotions come out, which leads to me going from extremely angry, to level, to occasionally really sad with no real explanation- if I don't control my emotions, I become nothing but emotional extremes.

Damned if I do, damned if I don't.

Forlorn Drifter, after reading all these people trying to help you out, and you not heeding any of their advice, this is the only thing that I can say to you at this point.

And really, you aren't damned if you do. You aren't damned if you don't. Emotions are part of being human. You can't run from them, you can't hide them. You feel how you feel for a reason, and if they are from one extreme to the next, seek medical attention.

In the interest of getting this train back on its tracks...

:D Supper turned out better than I thought it would. I made corn and crab meat bisque with a few ingredients that the recipe didn't call for, and it was okay. I've been wanting something with seafood in it but didn't know what until I saw crab meat at the store. For a whim, it was pretty awesome. Yeah, I'm tooting my own horn.

:( My good friend informed me today that her grandmother is on life support, and will probably pass within the next few day. The thing is though, her grandmother is an evil person, and my friend feels no sadness from her imminent passing (I don't either. The woman did some terrible things to my friend) but she is having lots of mixed emotions. She found out this morning when her uncle called her and reamed her out for not being there, when nobody had called her in the first place. She had found out about a week ago that her biological mom's family had been trying to contact her, but her grandmother had her believing that they had no interest in her. It's a shitty situation on all parts, and I hate seeing my friends in pain like that.

Nervous: I have to take an entrance exam tomorrow to get into the college that I want to, and I have no clue about the material. It's a twelve minute exam. TWELVE MINUTES. What the hell can you cram into a twelve minute exam that would qualify someone to go to your college? I'm pretty freaked out by it, and I really need to sleep, but my mind won't shut the hell up.
I'm here for your body.
