How Long to Beat

A friend recently showed me this awesome website, which is a crowd-sourced compilation of games and their completion times. You can see average time for completion of the main story, as well as times for 100% completion and anything in between. I know I've often wondered how long a particular game would take, and now I'll just check this. Figured I'd share with everyone here.

It's been posted before. It's a really good idea for a site, but personally I think it still needs some time in the oven before it becomes really useful.

Ah, seems everybody's one step ahead of me. And I can see why it might need some more time before it can really be a trusted resource. All depends on how many people contribute.

yeah, ive been using it a lot lately. It isn't very useful when it comes to 2D platformers, because they give you the literal time it takes.

I'd like if they have a section that tells you how long it takes a person to beat a game if they've never played it before. It isn't useful to me if you can beat Super Mario Bros: Lost Levels quickly because you've played it a million times.

I checked Pokemon Red and Blue, my friend beat the longest time posted there. Apparently the game stops counting after 999 Hours.

Good site. I check RPGs before playing them - I want to know if they're gonna take 20 hours or 70 hours.
