Man the Mario Galaxy comparisons stick out even MORE to me after watching that.
Not that I'm complaining, though. It looks good.

It looks great.
The 3DS and Wii U versions both look very good ... and it's nice that they're completely different stage-sets.

Wow, that looks great! I actually think it looks less like Galaxy now after watching the gameplay. It's reminiscent, but it has it's own style.
I really like the third level where Sonic is climbing up the sides of trees in the forest. Really cool.
Yes, I will be buying a Wii U. Waiting to see if there will be a price drop, and possibly some new bundles announced at E3.

The second and 3rd stage really did remind me of Mario Galaxy, but I think the first level was its own thing and looked like what a 3D Sonic game should be like.AppleQueso wrote:Man the Mario Galaxy comparisons stick out even MORE to me after watching that.

Also branching paths ......FINALLY THEY GET IT.
This is my number one reason to get a Wii U. Now I only need reasons 3-5 (number 2 still is Lego City

Well... Looks like I'm buying a Wii-U. Gameplay looks pretty solid, although this could be the first game to give me motion sickness.
I do see a lot of influence from Nintendo in this game (Climbing a tree to grab a red coin ring). However, it doesn't stray too far away from it's roots. I'm really excited about the branching paths and the incredible level designs. I think the second and third levels they demoed really shows off what these new mechanics are capable of.

I'm really excited about this one. It looks like everything I loved about classic sonic spliced into the modern sonic style which I personally find to be pretty fun. It's nice to see something new and exciting on the horizon for Wii U too after seeing basically nothing but Pikmin 3, The Wonderful 101 and New Super Luigi U since launch
